Our Opportunity:

The Jr. Application Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day support of Paisley proprietary Java-based software that is provided to customers in a hosted production implementation. This position is responsible for ensuring the Paisley applications are fully available and functional from an operational and technical perspective. The Jr. Application Administrator will be responsible for production web and application configuration, monitoring, maintenance and migrations. This position will work closely with tier 1 and tier 2 service desk personnel along with tier 3 development support personnel to address issues that are operational or technical in nature. This position will be responsible for implementing web and application monitoring, and reviewing application log files to capture application defects for the development team to resolve. This position is a production operations position, and as such, is required to be on team on-call rotation.

Job Duties:
•Apache web server implementation, monitoring and support
•JBoss application server implementation, monitoring and support
•Java application implementation, deployment, monitoring and support
•Review and provide input in operational and technological direction within a team setting
•Work with multiple development and support teams to troubleshoot production issues
•Provide 24x7 on-call support within a team rotation
•Other duties as assigned
•Shift Hours: 10:30am to 7:00pm

Job Requirements:
•BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent of education and experience.
•2 years related experience.
•Knowledge and experience with of UNIX user commands, UNIX shell scripting and/or Perl scripting, J2EE architecture, JBoss and Apache.
•Ability to accurately and efficiently execute technical/operations tasks from documentation
•Experience in creating technical and/or operational documentation
•High level of UNIX user experience required; UNIX administration experience a plus
•Basic database SQL writing skills required
•UNIX shell scripting and/or Perl scripting required
•Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions a plus
•Experience with ITIL Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management framework a plus
